STAR Lighter Insert

To fill your STAR lighter

 Fill only with STAR lighter fluid

 Hold lighter case in one hand, use the other hand to remove the insert (1)

 Lift the felt pad, (3) fill slowly with STAR lighter fluid, NEVER overfill.

 Return the insert into the case, be sure lighter fluid can is closed and there is no spilled fluid. 

 Wipe lighter and hands dry before igniting. 

 This is flammable fluid. 

To place the flint of the lighter

Remove screw (2) and attached spring at the end of fuel chamber, Bbe sure old flint is removed from the tube, replace the new STAR flint, screw tightly. If wheel binds after new STAR flint is inserted, turn the flint wheel backwards

Wick maintenance

When wick becomes black, pull it up with tweezers until clean wick, appears, then trim the end making it even with the chimney height, Go to this maintenance 1 or 2 times a year
